Dr. Almanza is a great surgeon and he did amazing. My conflict is with my care. The hospital had no proper air care. there was really cold or off which got really hot.
There is one nurse named Natalie. I was in so much pain and nauseated. I was walking the hall, and I asked her to please walk with me. I didn't want meds or anything, I just couldn't lay down and felt faint and wanted to walk and asked for help. she sat at her desk playing with her phone and when I asked for help she said no!!! go to bed!!! if you're faint; go to bed!!! I couldn't believe it. I vomited five times and walked halls all night, (Alone).
When I got to the Hacienda there was a nurse Named Alex. She is the most amazing nurse. She catered to my needs and helped me to get comfortable and she walked with me. She told me that she loves all her patients and wants them to feel comfortable because that is what she would need.
The rest of my stay was wonderful based on the nurse. I believe that it is the nurses that make or break the stay. I was still sicker than most due to having multiple things done, but I was able to get through it with the help of Alex. If all nurses could be more like her then people will enjoy and feel helped through this but based on the one night hospital stay I wouldn't recommend it because it was a pure hell.
