It has been six months since my sleeve and I am so happy that I had it done and only regret that I didn't do it sooner!
I've lost 62 pounds this far and really only feel I need to lose about 20 more and I will be thrilled! I can't say it has all been an easy journey but it has been worth every minute of it! There were lots of days in the beginning where I had no energy at all and wedged how I was going to get thru the day, but that's changed and I feel like most days I have more energy than I've ever had.i miss eating a large plate of food at times, mostly when I go out to eat with family or friends but it's ok because what I don't eat... They usually do! I am to a point where I eat anything I want and have learned my FULL level, I suffer if I ignore that spot! Getting enough protein has been an on going issue for me, some days I get enough some days I don't. I don't depend on eating for my protein I use a powder that way I know I've got it but honestly some days.....I just can't drink it! Lol
Fun things are like a few weeks ago I went to buy new jeans and had to try on three different sizes before I found the ones that fit! My brain is still on extra large and that's just not me anymore!
Health wise my knees don't hurt me much anymore at all...wish I could say I've stopped BP or diabetic meds but I was not on any meds prior but know if I had been I'd probably be off them now.
I do plan to return to have breast lift and implants done. Will need surgery on my arms just to make me happy as they sure are flappy now! I was nervous about coming to Mexico to have my sleeve done but I was totally happy with the entire process and recommend the clinic every chance I get!
My biggest reward comes from people who haven't seen me in awhile who remark about how great I look.... I love it!
