I researched the sleeve for a yr before having it done. My insurance wouldn't pay for it so I discovered this company doing it in Mexico and I researched and did my homework and decided I was ready for the change. I was weighing in at 300lbs on my 5 ft 5 inch frame. I had a new knee and was facing the other one needing done in my forty's . I would wake up daily tired and hurting and had no energy what so ever it was a time for a change. I scheduled the surgery and had it done. Within 6 months I lost 100 lbs, and the change was incredible I was able to do things I couldn't do before the surgery, I was able to walk long distances and to play with my grandchildren, and I also helped my marriage because I became a happier person, I was able to look at myself and like the woman looking back at me. I was able to buy the cutest jeans I always envied. And the people around me noticed me in a different light. I went from wearing 22 jean size down to a 12, to date I lost 130 lbs and only because I won't allow myself to get smaller . I'm at a healthy weight at 170 and very comfortable with it. I also quit looking at the number on the scale and paid more attention to my diet. Food is no longer my best friend or an addiction. I would recommend this to anybody that has struggles with their weight, I tried every diet before turning to this but realized I needed a helping hand. Like a alcoholic food was my addiction.
