As soon as I contacted them I felt I was doing the right thing. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. The approval process was quick and easy. The pre op diet was well explained and easy to follow. As were all the instructions.
I flew from Seattle WA to San Diego by myself and met the van at the airport. The driver was very kind and answered all my questions. He drove me and the other passenger into Tijuana and straight to the hospital. We had our labs EKG and vitals taken and then went to the beautiful hotel provided by the company.
The next day we were driven to the hospital. Our surgery was handled with care and expertise by Dr. Almanza and his staff. Our after care was excellent. After surgery we were encouraged to walk and rest until we were discharged to the medical staff at the hotel.
The nursing staff at the hotel took superb care of us. Changed our IV's administered pain and nausea medication, changed our bandages and emptied our drains. We were also again encouraged to walk and rest alternately. We got jello, soup and Popsicle's from the hotel staff whenever we wanted it.
We were taken by van to a radiologist to have our leak test and we all passed with flying colors.
When it was time to go home the driver took us to San Diego and dropped us off right at the airport for our flight home.
Since I have been home WeightLossAgents has called and kept in touch with me regularly. My after care instructions were clear and easy to follow. I am safely loosing 1-3 lbs a week (sometimes more) and feel great.
I have recommended this clinic to my two sisters and they have appointments in March. I will get to go back and see Dr. Almanza and the staff and cannot wait to show off.
My surgery was on Oct 1st and today I am eating a regular diet but eat only 1/4 -1/3 cup of food at a time. My biggest challenge is getting enough to drink each day.
