well I'm not really sure where to start. everyone talks about surgery so I'll talk about after. I'm just now starting week 3. I'm starting to tolerate more soft/puree foods. I've figured out if I keep water in my hands at all times, and drink almost all the time I won't get dehydrated. U literally can only eat 3 bites (3 times a day) be sure to stop drinking before and after eating!! and take vitamins. I finished my second week and I'm 23 lbs lighter than my surgery weight. This is definitely a game changer. The first week was hard. I felt tired, and was really trying to heal. I also felt weird not having any food at all. but week 2 when I could, I felt much better I had more energy.
The hotel was amazing and I loved the nurses, they care. they will come when u need them.
As for the surgery, it's surgery, it's painful for some. some come out of the sedation better than others. bottom line is it's uncomfortable the 1st day, but walk as soon as you can. and not having water for 24hrs is rediculaslly hard, but u can do it. just remember walk walk walk. I'm always here to talk or if u have questions. look me up on fb. Tiffany Strain
(these pics are before surgery, I'm not ready to post after ones yet)
