From the beginning when I got a hold of Dr. Almanza phone service team was very helpful by answering unclear questions about the gastric sleeve surgery, and they convinced me to move forward with my weight loss journey. Today, I am 24 lbs less than when I began my high protein diet at the beginning of the detox diet plan before the surgery as follows including my surgery. I am pleased I've made this decision with Dr. Almanza. His care team in the hospital were great as well. The facility is clean and spacious. When arriving at the airport of San Diego, California I noticed I wasn't the only one waiting for the shuttle to the facility. There was a group of patience waiting for the driver as well. I felt so much better and felt a sense of relief. Right after my arrival I got a Cat scan of my lungs.

One advice I would give female patients: bring a non-wire bra (sports bra) because my bra was bothering me heading back home. It sat right on top of one of the middle incisions of the surgery. It was pretty uncomfortable. Overall I believe I've made a great decision taking my first step to my weight loss journey. I am in my fourth phase of my diet and my incisions on my stomach are still healing. Also continuing my protein shakes, gummy vitamins, puree diet and soft solid diet. Thank You Dr. Almanza and Team!!
