I love my sleeve. I definitely think anyone with weight issues can benefit from having the sleeve. I do not miss eating big portions, and no one can tell that I'm different when I eat. I feel normal. I just let others know I'm counting my calories and eating less.

My weight before the sleeve was 237, six months after the sleeve 194. Not as big of a loss as I thought it would be, but that is my own doing. I still struggle with bad eating habits, however I can never binge again, which is a blessing.

I am not skinny, but I am happy with the way I look. Being a size 14 is much easier then being a size 18. My journey is not over, when I count calories and stay under 1300, I lose. If I eat how I want, the weight comes back on one pound at a time.

I don't have an amazing weightloss story, but I am happy with the way I look. I'd happily recommend the sleeve to anyone who needs help getting weight off.

As far as going to Mexico, it was fine. It's what I excepted it to be. I went by myself and always felt safe. You are always with other patients or with staff. They took care of me, and I am happy I could go there to afford what I could never afford here. I do not have health insurance and I haven't needed to see anyone since returning. (That's not recommended, but that's how it is for me) I make sure I have enough water everyday and I am healthy.

Go and get sleeved, like how you look, and take care of yourself.
