First off I want to thank Dr. Mario Almanza and his staff. They were simply amazing with everything!! Was picked up at airport, taken to hotel and settled right in. Met nurses and had all of our questions answered. Everything went smoothly and without any problems. Surgery was in the morning and the following evening we were sent back to the hotel. Every nurse we had or that helped up was so sweet, answered our questions and helped with anything they could.
Personally I got this surgery in order to help with moderation in eating as I had a problem with it. I started out weighing about 315 pounds, currently I am down to 214!!! I have lost 101 pounds!! Everything seems to be easier these days. I have more energy to keep up with my nieces and nephews, my knees and ankles no longer make noises when going up stairs, and just all around feel better about myself.
