For those whom are looking into this surgery.. well.. it is LIFE CHANGING!! I had my surgery exactly one month and two days ago. I have no regrets what so ever! I weighed 187lbs and I am 5' 3". I now weigh 165.2Lbs but I have also followed my diet to a T! This diet is really hard though!! Although you have no desire physically to eat you will still have your mental desire! And that mental desire is horrible!! Now that I am on solid food I am perfectly happy and I eat probably every two hours. For those whom didn't know, you will have to drink and consume protein shakes or supplements continually as well as vitamins. All around my experience was great! It was a challenge at first and it is still a challenge at some points.... But in the end I am almost half way to my goal already and I just flat out feel sooooo much better!!! The crew and staff in Mexico was beyond AMAZING!! They take way better care of you then the staff in Tennessee! I could not recommend a better doctor either! Dr. Almanza was phenomenal and took the best of care for his patience just like he will you! I hope the best for you in your new adventure and I hope that you choose to take the steps that I did.. I am not going to sit here and say that it won't be hard at times but I will say that you'll learn to have no regrets! It will completely change everything in your life and when you step on that scale and loose a pound daily!! You will fall in love with your new stomach!! GOOD LUCK!
