Hello,
I just wanted to give you a little insite on what to expect and the current progress I've made in a short time. I had my surgery on March 6th starting out at 286 lbs or 127 kg. today is May 5th and I have lost 51 lbs or 23 kg. I too was a bit nervous about having surgery in Mexico and mainly going down there on my own and something going wrong. I can honestly say it was one of the easyest things I've done. My hardest time was the week of only liquids prior to the surgery. I was staving! Now, I have not been even a little hungery since. 1st night after surgery was a little unconfortable but that was it. I've not even been sick once. I'm following the post surgery menu, but to be honest, I eat anything I want at this point. I read that id you over eat you will get sick and vomit. I don't think you could over eat again, I get the "Hick ups" and know that is enough. No had any issues. I truley hope it keeps going like this because I'm really starting to feel much better.
I talked with many people for over a year before making the decision and I'm very glad I did it. I love to cook and was worried that I would not enjoy it anymore. Not the case, I just eat what I cok for two or three days now instead of one meal.
The staff there is very helpful and seemed very professional. If your stuggling with up & down weight loss as I have been for years, I suggest you have the surgery.
I feel great
