I like all who have decided to take this journey, have yo-yoed my way through my entire life. Always my lack of portion control would creep the weight back on. I FINALLY had enough looking at photos of myself at my sons graduation. I chose to travel alone, this was VERY hard. Like others have stated, it was the hardest part to deal with. If I had to do it over, I would have not done it alone! There definitely was language barrier. Dr. Villarreal clinic is in Laredo Mexico. It currently isn't a main choice clinic as some others. I was taken to a nice hotel and transported to Dr. Villarreal clinic the next morning. It was a very beautiful and clean facility. Dr. Villarreal speaks fluent English, the nurses do not however. He explained everything well. My surgery went great. I was transported back to my hotel at noon. Unlike the other facility, I was truly on my own at the hotel after my surgery. I did not have a nurse or drinks provided. This is where having someone with you is a necessity! I had to walk to a nearby convenience store, alone and in a Foreign Country to buy Gatorades and water to get me through the night and long car ride to the airport the next day. Regardless of this my experience has been positive and I look and feel great! I have lost 40lbs. In the last 2 months. Thank You to Dr. Villarreal and Weightloss Agents. From a Shrinking Canadian Girl!
