I'm 8 weeks (almost 9) post surgery. I'M SO GLAD I DID THIS, and that weight loss agents helped me get there. They are an amazing team who are there for you and check in on you. I'm feeling good. I've dropped 30 lbs now, mostly just by following closely, the post op instructions, and a lot of walking (bicycling and golf coming soon)! For myself I found that water was definitely not enough and I tried SUGAR FREE electrolyte-replacing fluids like Powerade ZERO, AND Vitamin water; both are good. Makes sure you do eat slowly and PLEASE chew 20 times. This will help you NOT THROW UP! I was slamming food it down per usual. It only took me TWO times to figure that out! Not fun and dangerous for your new tummy. Don't wanna go spring a leak!
I don't feel "hungry" per s , it's more like just empty. So I fill it. Oh hey, WATCH THE PORTIONS. You're gonna crack up when you see the itty bitty size. Trust me, ITS ENOUGH! That's another good reason to eat slowly. Less food, less time needed to eat. When you're with friends, you don't always want to be the first one done!
So that's my story. I'd recommend WLA to any of my friends for sure.
Good luck to anyone reading this. Hope it helps and be proud of the decision you make. You're gonna feel so damn good!
