This surgery, for me, was something necessary to get me up and moving. I was too tired, too sore, too fat to even get moving on the right track. The surgery was hard. If there is someone out there looking for the easy way to lose the weight, this isn't it. This surgery is just a tool to get you started on the right path. I lost about 40 lbs. before I stopped losing, so I feel better, I look better, and now I'm able to exercise and be more active. The problem for me was I grazed all day so I didn't get the results I should have. Like I said, this surgery is just a tool to help you. You still have to put in the work and follow the rules. As far as surgery choices, I highly recommend the sleeve. It's so much less invasive and seems to have less chance for complications than the others you hear about. All in all it was a great decision and if I had it to do over again, I would, but I would follow the rules better when I got home.
