I was apprehensive about surgery in Tijuana but so far have no regrets. It is early in the journey so there is much more to understand and experience. I know someone who she and her sisters had the surgery with Dr. Almanza so felt confident about my decision.

The hospital is clean, the staff very helpful and everything went smoothly. We felt safe as we had arranged transportation to hotel, hospital, shopping etc. Never did we feel unsafe. After care went smoothly but on the last day in care, we seemed to kind of fall off the staff radar which was a bit frustrating.

I think it would have been helpful for staff to have handouts for care as our group ended up with conflicting information at times in what to do, what to expect etc. Easy enough to put our heads together and figure out but after a surgery, direct accurate info would have been helpful.

The hotel staff were stellar! Very cheerful, helpful and always ready to lend a hand. The hotel was newly remodeled - actually in process of remodel, which left daytime very noisy with hammering, grinding etc. but hey, work has to be done right?

I would do it again! One week from day of surgery and 7 lbs down. Overall experience was fantastic!

Thank you Dr. Almanza for a new start to life!
